As mentioned to people tonight at choir I haven't been visiting LJ for a long time as initially I was busy and didn't have the time to read everyone's posts and then, as the time drew on, I was overwhelmed with the thought of reading I would need to do to catch up on all the past news over the last two months!  I also have had a fair bit happening ( Read more... )

Yup - he 's a late addition to our animal family at the Sanctuary and he can be temperamental. I was afraid for my ear a couple of times! lol

Phlox (the cat) is a Snow (seal lynx point with blue eyes) Bengal Cat. Competition bred Bengals are within three or four generations of the wild Asian Leopard Cat!

A summary:

Uni wise: Worked on literature review and handed it in. Did a huge heap of lab work for my thesis and now have results and am in the process of writing up my thesis.

Fandom wise: Worked my way through Firefly, watched Serenity over the weekend, and I'm continuing my passion for Scifi/Fantasy getting my weekly fix of Battlestar Galactica and Doctor WhoChoir: Satisfied my large choir fix by rehearsing for and performing in SUMS' most recent concert "Viennese Bibolets", and started singing in another University Choir (SU Madrigals) which I have been really enjoying for the hard slog of sightreading new pieces every week and singing with at the most 4 other Altos, as well as the different style of music/younger age demographic of the choir ( ... )
