I have only been to the Prom once. It was a few years ago camping with friends. It was amazing having ocean and such rugged hills in the same setting. We was Summer and wading in Tidal River it was like bathing in warm tea (the water was shallow and sluggish and tannin-stained from the shrubbery in the hills).

I was shocked to hear that it was on fire partly because it is an a amazing place and partly because a promontory (peninsula) could be a scary place in which to get stuck.

We all very much admire what you are doing and wish every time for your safe return.
