1) Feel better (in both the physical and emotional sense).

2) Summer sans Doug, and China, and SATs, and people, and the war, and more people, and life will all get better in good time. I didn't know Doug, but I recognize the feeling, and it sucks. As does the lackage of China. SATs are stressful, but if you let yourself get freaked out about a test, it's only gonna make you do worse. So stay calm, and keep a clear head, because you're smart, and you'll do fine. War sucks ass; I believe that's the general consensus. And worldwide disease sucks too, especially when it cancells China.

3) Like Vanessa said, smack me if I'm either of said hated people. Or, to avoid violence, just tell me blatantly to my face.

4) You're cool.

Colby, you deserve fucking better cards than life is dealing you right now. I'm fucking sorry, everything you list there is really sucky. I hope that you can look at good things too (potentially going to China at the end of May, Shakespeare, prepping for your musical, etc. etc. etc.) and see that it's still not all bad.

I also hope I'm not one of these sucky people, because I've always that we have a healthy relationship around our music/theatre stuff, and can give and receive feedback etc. well. If I put you off, I don't do it intentionally.

I missed you today. I actually (and you're gonna think this is an April Fool's joke, but it's true I swear) had your CD today, and I'll have it tomorrow too. All my classes were noticeably different without you there, and I found myself thinking more than once "man, too bad Colby isn't here..."

Anyways, love.

Joel
