This is, most people do it because they dont like who they really are, and try to change who they are by "dolling up". I personally think its not necessary, and im sure alot of guys would agree with it as well. Do what YOU want, not what anyone else wants... if you feel pretty wearing makeup then DO IT. if you dont... well, obviously you shouldnt have to. Its your choice in the end.

well good on you i say, for taking that shower instead of going out not feeling like yourself.. not that i can *really* relate (do men care how they look?... or do i just not understand yuppie metros?)...

you've never been one who follows what everyone else does just cos its 'cool' (when its stupid) and i certaintly wouldnt be offended if you attended some event not all dolled up... actually i'd probably prefer you to look yourself and feel comfortable..

but such is life really.. as stupid as some (social) things are, part of us still always wants to do them (myself included).. or maybe we think we have to.. for whatever reason.. ugh im slowly descending into the toilet bowl of philosophy... but my point is.. i think you're right, it doesn't change who you are, just conceals you (haha pun intended).. which is definately a bad thing

you putting make up on or taking it off isnt some aspect of yourself thats alien. its all you. if you're like me you're self-conscientious twice. once about how you think about yourself and once how you think others view you. i think you dressed up for other people first though, i cant do that, i dress for me, then i think about what other people might think and then i might change it.

for what its worth it never mattered what you wore, i thought you were damn sexy and i doubt im the only one that thinks that.
