*Inferno woke up slowly, grateful that he wasn't jerked out of recharge.  The time it took for his systems to boot up properly gave him chance to think about things*

Red says that Smokescreen wants ta talk ta me 'bout what happened.  I really don't wanna talk to no one 'bout it.  I shouldn't be feeling this way.  I'm the one ev'ryone

*Firestar makes her way into medbay, she is quite dusty thanks to her trip from the spacebridge to the Ark, but she'd been much, much filthier in her search and rescue days with Inferno, so she knows he won't mind if she's less than perfect. It's not like she needs to look good for him anymore, those days are long behind them*

*It's easy to spot Inferno's large red bulk, but she doesn't approach right away, a little taken aback to see her tough, seemingly indestructable best friend in such a vulnerable condition, though not nearly as bad as Trailbreaker, thank Primus*

*starts as he sees Firestar lingering in the doorway*

Firestar? What ya doin' here?

*smiles warmly and without artifice, allowing the pleasure at seeing her old friend to overcome the worry over his condition.*

I'm here to see you, silly!

*crosses medbay to stand beside Inferno's berth, regarding him with deep affection before leaning down and giving him a firm hug and a sisterly kiss on the cheek*

Hey now, easy on the injured. *grins up at Firestar* Thought ya were still on Cybertron.

*pauses* Does Red know yer here?

Ya'd be surprised... *Inferno murmured. There'd been plenty of times when he didn't have a chance at anything.*

Didya really come all this way ta see me?

*smiles and pats Inferno's arm affectionately* Of course I did, you're my best friend.

*frowns, sobering and looking worried* And it isn't often I hear about you getting hurt quite like this.

It ain't all that bad really. Trailbreaker got it worse than I did. *shrugs off the damage, about to change the subject when Firestar receives a comm from Red Alert*

Okay, so mebbe he ain't rechargin'. Get yerself goin' Firestar. I ain't going nowhere. *grins at her*

*gives Inferno a searching look, and curses the convenient interruption, even though she knows it's important* I'll be back later on. I'm not finished with you, yet.

*gets up and hurries off to collect Wheeljack*
