Well well, that day finally arrived, and how now passed. Moistly. I am back home now, of course, after being in Vancouver all day. Met up with some wonderful friends whom I had only met online before now, and I certainly expect to see them more, eventually. Sooo, my day... Got up at 7:30am to catch the 9:00 ferry to Vancouver. Oh very nice, very nice indeed! Guess what, the favorite is the bald eagle of course! They seem to have invented a new way to feeding the tiger. Looks a quite interesting idea. ^v^ I'm glad you had a great time!

Last time I was there, two years ago, they had two bald eagles. Dunno what happened to the other one, could've been hiding somewhere. A sign on the enclosure says that they were injured birds, unable to survive in the wild again, and donated to the zoo by the department of fish and game, I think.

Oooh, awesome! Very nice pics too, except for that annoying focus issue. If you have a multi-spot focus thing, try setting it to center-only, that does help quite often.

I need to find time to invade Vancouver again.

Thanks! ^v^ One of my friends is a hobbiest photographer, and he has spoiled me cuz he has a couple thousand worth of equipment. So in my eyes, those pics are not the greatest, for sure. Burt then, when you use a $250 digital camera, you can't expect the best, right? :P
