Oh boy is it going to be hard to go back to work tomorrow. PNWRaptors is having a 'medieval' day, with demonstrations all day, knights, battles, that kinda stuff. I wish I could go so much, but this fucking horrid schedule is getting in my way again! Grrrrr, I am so fed up! We only have 5 hikers (that is my position) for 7 days of the week

How badly do you need the money? And what do you have to lose by quitting?

I need the money to go back to school. Other than school, money is not a huge issue for me. I COULD take a loan, but I am really against loans.
What do I lose? A secure, stable job that I can rely on and am comfortable with, even if I hate it.

Hm, ok. Well, as long as you don't have rent and all to pay each month, i guess you could always try to get something else.

And well, a job you hate isn't good anyway. You did say you were back at the bottom, and that they were short on staff. So they'd probably take you back if other things didn't work.

You can always just start looking for something else without actually quitting your current one, and once you find something you're happy with, then quit.

You have 3 days off ya? Go job hunt a little. You're young and fit... Go see if they need anyone at the breweries and shit... You also know waiting, pubs and bars are always in need. What'd you lose by looking ya? Nuffin... Mebbe some SOYA time. What might you gain? A new job with good hours and maybe more money.

Very true words. Actually,I have been thinking about trying to get a bartenders license for a while. Maybe I should actually go out and do it. :P Then again, simply getting a waiter position somewhere shouldn't be too hard, either...
