I seem to have less time to post on here than ever before but Im not sure why. I actually think its because Im not positivley making the time. Funny thing time....I find it hard to know where it goes. January seemed endless as a month. Dark and dismal, and I couldn't get myself motivated for anything much. A lottsa luck staying warm in Sweden. I don't think I own enough clothes to layer for that amount of cold!

I know..Im certainly going to need a big suitcase. I imagine there's going to be lots of sitting in those lovely Swedish cafes drinking coffee or hot chocolate.

To stay warm there's only one thing to do- wear layer after layer with clothes. Thermals underneath, then shirts (long-sleeved and short-sleeved), good trousers and a good jacket/coat + good gloves, a hat/cap/beenie and a good scarf and you should be fine. Also, when outside, don't stand still for too long or you'll get cold pretty quickly.

Sorry you're closing your LJ. Ive really enjoyed what youve written about Sweden and its culture and its helped me feel more connected to a Swedish granddaughter. Thank you! And good luck.

Sweden! That sounds so exciting. Lots of layers, and thermals (especially long johns).

You're right about January seeming endless. It's good to see daffodils, and crocuses, and some blue sky.

Brandy! thats the only way I can think to deal with temps of -17.
But then being with family and friends will keep you warm;)
Enjoy and I can't wait to read about your trip when you return.
