I'm glad I read this one at home. I will give him lots of hugs and kisses from you on Saturday and take him lots of healthy and yummy food to keep him strong. I love you honey.

Thank you. I can't think about it without getting pretty well busted-up. Time to close down and get back to the hotel before it starts up again...

I hate that you're going through this. I hate that any of us have had to or will have to. It's stuff like this that led to my becoming some combination of deist and agnostic. If God is supposed to be so loving and there are supposed to be rewards for being the best of the best, why do things like this happen to innocent animals and to good people?

And, I should add, that I'm jealous as hell that you're in Sebring this week. I don't know how I missed that you are a car person too. Usually I can spot my fellow car people in no time flat!

I've had dogs and cats and rabbits go before. I've been torn up over it, and I've managed to go on and live my life thereafter. It doesn't get any easier - in fact, Kit is sure to be the hardest I've ever lost, when the time comes. I've been with him 10 years and change. He's the first dog in our family who's ever been truly my own ( ... )
