It is a fairly common build, and the two points put into the Arcane tree for decreased resistances can be placed elsewhere, such as Blazing Speed (though I somewhat shudder at the thought), Master of Elements (quite unnecessary in the heat of short battle), or Playing with Fire (good if you would like to absolutely maximize your top-end damage at the risk of falling prey to an extrordinarily well-critted spell shot, given your current caparison.)
You might also want to dabble deeper into the Arcane arts, in which case I believe it might be to your benefit to converse with me directly.
In addition, I strongly suggest a switch toward Cindercloth garb, and aspirations toward the Fire Strider footguards on your ascent toward Marshaldom and beyond.
I'd like to point out that at the time of the original entry, I already had a build designed.
Similar. Not quite the same. I did indeed take blazing speed, and two points in playing with fire, though not at the cost of the two points in arcane. I opted not to go with burning soul and molten fury.
Burning soul? The threat obviously doesn't matter in pvp. And as to the losing casting time thing... if I'm getting hit, I already lost. I need to be raining destruction from on high, not in the thick of things.
Molten fury? For how long is someone in pvp below 20%? And what are the odds that I'm not one-shotting them at that point, anyway?
If you'd like to argue the merits of either of those, feel free.
