I'm having so much fun directing this movie. It's going to be really bloody. I can't actually say that it's going to be super violent, just bloody. The poker scene went by smoothly, and the parking garage massacre worked great too. Two days are down, and we have three days of shooting left to go. I'm going home (New Orleans) in four days. I'm starting work at noa-tv in early November, so I'm gonna go home. There's no reason to stay in Mobile. Ok, normally it would take me only two (sometimes two and a half) hours to go from Moblie to Baton Rouge to see Erin. However, today was a different story. I got so much traffic it was sick. The Saints game starts in five minutes. I can't wait to see it, this is the first time in NFL history that a home game is played in the opposing teams stadium. And Giants stadium actually looks like the Superdome (the inside). They even went as far as putting the Saints logo in one of the endzones. I had a lot of fun today, Erin and I went tailgating with Paul and his family (for the LSU game). We pretty much just ate and watched football on TV all day. And it was a good day for sports. Andre Agassi (my favorite athlete of all time) won the Semi-Finals of the US Open today. He's fucking amazing! He's 35 and he plays like he did when he was 19 ( Read more... )
