where do they get off?

I wish people wouldn't disparage my writing just because I happen to be a Hanson fan who is writing the FIRST EVER Hanson/Harry Potter crossover. It depresses me.

I THINK IT IS COOL THAT YOU ARE WRITING ONE!

Thanks :) I've only had two negative reactions to it so far, but it's still slightly depressing.

You're writing a Hanson/Harry Potter cross?! NEATO! I can't wait to read it when you're done! :D I'm doing a Moffatt/LOTR cross. 'Tis fun.

You bet your sweet ass I'm writing one. It's fun, yeah, but a little tricky. And it'll probably be one of three stories - one each for books 5 to 7. I suck at writing long stories ie more than 150 pages. This should be interesting :D

Don't let it frustrate you too much. It's only 2 negative reactions, and not everyone can like the same stuff. And if it's constructive criticism then it might even help you to improve your story. : )
However, if it's only the "Hanson sucks and Harry Potter sucks and your story sucks" kind of criticism then don't give a rat's ass about it!!
