and anyone who appreciated the Trek concept but just don't/didn't like William Shatner.

I thought for ages I hated Star Trek. Then I watched the new movie and realized I was merely in the category above, and with Shatner out of the picture I could enjoy it just fine. :P

This was actually the eleventh Star Trek movie:

Star Trek (I)
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
Star Trek III: The Search for Spock
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
Star Trek V: The Final Frontier
Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country
Star Trek: Generations (VII)
Star Trek: First Contact (VIII)
Star Trek: Insurrection (IX)
Star Trek: Nemesis (X)
Star Trek (XI)

A lot of people think that the new movie finally broke the "odd-numbered Star Trek movies suck" rule, forgetting that the full rule is "only odd-numbered Star Trek movies suck", which already got broken by the shambling wreck that was Nemesis.
