I haaaaated Inglorious Basterds with this burning passion. It made me so uncomfortable in a way I've never been uncomfortable in a movie before and I left the theater with a massive migraine. >:| Sucked because pretty much all of my favorite German actors were in it.

You know, I didn't love the Basterds either (but then again I had been warned to watch it basically because of Waltz). Anyway I think Matitablu was right when she said that the movie just was about Landa and Shosanna, not the Bastards, so knowing that makes it quite better.
As for Duplicity, now I wanna see it because of Wilkinson and Giamatti, obviously XD

I enjoyed Basterds, but I thought I was going to hate it, so I guess my expectations were low. It was a bit long to wait through everything to get to the payoff, but what a payoff!

Anders had the same complaint about Basterds as you. I liked it a lot for Hans Lands, its energy and awesome cinematography, but he was all "WHY is this movie called Inglorious Basterds? This is unacceptable!" Lol.

I tried watching Duplicity (for free, downloaded) and just couldn't. So blahhhhh.
