It's been too long since I've posted. Most things that happen, Eric posts about and so I tend to feel pretty meh about getting around to writing about it from my point of view. What happened last Friday deserves my own post, though.

My friend David, the shaman Yablik in my guild, died.

There are many bright, articulate, and very lonely souls out there on the Internet, and often getting to know one - and being part of raising his quality of life - can be a rare privilege. For both of you.

In fact, you could sort of place me in that category now, without my Lady Anne. And I feel privileged by your friendship.

Any idea of what David actually died of?

Alas, most people have moved on to Facebook these days, which I can't stand. Livejournal, in retrospect, is referred to as social media these days, but there was a distinct difference in feel (not to mention actual usability) as compared to Facebook/Twitter/etc. So I'm not gaining new friends on LJ these days (as I'm not in with the Russians) and things like lack of responses have led me to post so infrequently I don't think many people even read my journal anymore
