England has the nickname "Blighty".
Does Ireland have a nickname too?

The only nickname I can think of for Ireland is "Erin." Sometimes you hear older expats say "the old country," as well.

The Irish name for Ireland is "Éirinn." :)

Thanks a lot! This is for a review.
If you can stand a slow movie which describes why Ireland had a civil war in the 20's, The Wind That Shakes The Barley is a good film and a good history lesson. And an interesting insight into the IRA. :)
