That does indeed sound like the title of a Korean pop song! With incredibly saccharine lyrics and a video set in the romantic past. I can just picture it.
:) I didnt see it like that before you mentioned it.
And its funny, I thought the motive was poetic, I didnt think it could be interpreted as tragic so thanks for making me see the picture in a new light. :) Thats very interesting and cool.
Poetic, tragic, romantic...all inextricable intertwined in my mind. I think I read too much Shakespeare in high school.
I used to love to watch the Korean music video show that came on in the middle of the night on Saturdays a long time ago. Especially at first. It was very interesting, and a little bit sad, to see how the videos changed from being little stories, usually sappy sad ones but some very cool, to being rather lame and pointless like most American music videos. They music quality went downhill a little, too, although that might be because the videos they aired were targed at Koreans in America.
But isnt that the kind of romance that we remember the most and often like the most too? :)
Shakespeare knew that and a lot of others too.
Your observations about the Korean music videos are interesting. I agree that the development sounds both interesting and a little sad. But it would have been cool to have seen the good sappy ones.
I have seen old Japanese videos and sappy J and K dramas. Its fun to watch both Korean and Japanese movies.
