History/Background/Appearance/Hobbies/E.T.C.
Raised by his lawyer father and artistic mother, Deidara grew up never being without. His father was a little disappointed that his son had leaned towards his artistic side, but he wouldn't force his only son against what he liked. Deidara loved art, but the kind that most people did... Oh, it was SO boring! Everyone just copied and copied and copied until all the art looked the same to him. No matter what kind of art it was, it looked the same to him. But then when he and his family was traveling through the city, he saw a building getting demolished with the use of bombs. So taken with the explosion that he began researching and testing his own compilations of it.
With his explosive art came an explosive personality. He hated sitting still, always wanting to be doing something. He loved sports, soccer and lacrosse were his favorites. If you're looking for someone to sweet talk you, make things better, you wouldn't want to go to Deidara. He doesn't mean to be cruel, he just sees things in a different perspective then most. He is an artist after all.
If you want the best fun in your life without care of rules and normality, Deidara would be the prime candidate for you. Just make sure you don't bore him. He might try to entertain himself at your expense.

Three pairs of eyes bore down at him, trying so hard to crack in his brain and control his mind. Perhaps they thought that maybe if they used combined forces, they'd be successful.
No such luck.
They were the first to break the silence.
"Deidara, how many times do we have to see you in this office this year?" the teacher asked, folding their fingers over the desk.
Raising and dropping a shoulder, the blond twitched his head to the side to indicated confusion. "I don't really know why I'm here today, un," he told them.
"Your... appearance--" the teacher started, but another interrupted him.
"We make certain rules for the dress code, Deidara," they told him.
Flashing his wide lopsided smile, he leaned back in the chair. "I read the rules on the dress code already and made sure that I wasn't breaking any rules. Including the new ones, un," he informed them. He in deed read the whole thing. Read it backwards hanging upside down from the tree house in his parents back yard as well. It didn't say anything about the bracelets he wore on his right arm, the new piercing he had, the clips he had on his hair, the mismatched earrings, the skulls on his belt or the polish on his nails. There was however new rules which he noted that had been added on after the year before. No extensive bracelets on the left hand (hence his right), belts had to be black not multicolored, no addition to his uniform clothes. He was kind of pissed about that. He'd made his jacket look pretty badass last year.
"...Deidara this is a private school where a strict uniform is expected," the teachers told him, frowning deeply.
Standing up, Deidara did a small spin. "That's why my uniform is newly pressed and neat," he said, giving them a dramatic bow. "Thanks for checking up though. I was pretty sure I covered it all, but you've confirmed it, un!"
He did a little skip as he left the teacher's office, wandering down the hallway. Well, that was easier then he though! Honestly. So many rules for just clothes. Hadn't they ever heard of individualism? This was New York for crying out loud.
"Deidara!" He turned towards the girls hurrying after him and grinned at them. "We saw them take you to the office! Is everything alright?"
"Of course," he told them laughing. "Victory is mine yet again!"
The girls giggled and clapped for him, filling his ego far more then nesessary as he continued walking down the hall, waving to them as he went.
First Person
These rules are so dumb, but there's aaaaalways loopholes! Mom thought it was funny when I asked her opinions on my ideas. Seriously, what's so wrong about letting yourself stand out? Oh, note to self: get more pins. My bag is looking kinda dull.
I rode the train today. It was kinda cool... I bet there's all kinds of secret passageways and stuff down the tunnels. I saw some graffiti on the walls in places. I'll have to find someone to go down there with me in case we get caught, but it'll be on my to-do list.
Oh! Oh! Independence day is on!!! This movie is so inspirational! I wonder what the best point in New York is to cause that much damage without a nearly indestructible hovering craft.....
And, just for fun...give us three quirky, interesting facts about your character not mentioned in your application.
1. Deidara is easily swayed with sweets, toys, presents and money
2. Despite his obnoxious antics, Deidara pays attention in class, but tries his best not to show it.
3. He swears that the plane crash of 9/11 was meant for his birthday celebration, but the hijackers were misinformed about the month.
