try vibroworld.com and if all else fails I would suggest to use single caps of separate values and wire them as needed (if space allows). Good luck! (I also believe you can ask for custom built multi-section caps)
cat ! how are you :) the cap is for a motorola valve amp that i ve been playing with lately :) Its an old amp from the 60s, 2.1 (2 chanels with 4 6bm8s and the bass channel 6bq5 and 12ax7 tube) + pair of klipsch speakers.
The original filter cap is 40-40-30 @ 400 100@25 4 section cap, but no where to be found in existance anymore. wanted to at least keep the original look and get a 3 section cap can on top and use a single cap hidden on the bottom.
I m very slowly learning about tubes, and even got myself a simple eico 635 tester :) will probably have to rebias the amp after replaccing all the electrolytics since i have a little glow in one of the 6bm8s
VERY slow learning curbe and frustrating sometimes, but it sounds very nice :) Probably, not audiophile quality... but i love listening to it. (till the glowing tube came up)
Hello firedog! :) I've been very good thank you (even though turning 30 has been terrible on my gut) ;) I must admit to be very surprised to hear you are interested in audio electronic. I thought your interest was more toward things with motors and guns. :P Glad to hear we share another hobby and I hope you will find what you are looking for. When I have more time, I'll show you by email what I've been working with recently.
*hugs* 30 is not so bad ! better than 40 or 50... :P but we will get there.
I`m a random dog, been wanting a tube amp for years, but never wanted to spend the money.. nor know what to buy. I ll love to see what you have been to ! please, don`t forget to show me.
