 I still don't feel like a college student. Sometimes it just feels like I'm away at camp where I actually have to sometimes do stuff.

But Gossip Girl and Heroes are on tonight! Sadly, I think that's the highlight of my week.

Hahaha yeah, that's just this week. Monday nights are the only time my whole dorm gets together. But apparently some other freshmen are trying to start up an acapella group here, so I may have rehearsals to look forward to again too. :) I'm glad rehearsals are going well! <3

oh my gosh, that's exactly the way i felt for at least the first couple of months of college, as if i was just at some elaborate summer camp, haha

MARK!!!! Hahaha, really? at UW? I'm at Beloit College in southern Wisconsin, tiny little liberal arts school that seriously does feel like summer camp. Won't feel that way when it's -20 out...

How are you?!

I'm pretty good. I can't really play rugby anymore because my shoulder is horrendously fucked up. My right arm hangs around 4 inches lower than my left, and I can't go into contact for more than 10 minutes anymore, so that sucks a lot.

Nicole and I are living together up in Seattle, and it's wonderful. We have a nice little apartment just off of the university. She's gaining residency and working right now.

I work at the zoo here in Seattle, so that's pretty entertaining. Haha other than that I've just been living life, trying to get by.

Ahh that sucks about the rugby! Even more about your shoulder, I hope it doesn't give you too much trouble? But I'm glad to hear about you and Nicole! That's very exciting, it sounds like you guys are really happy. And the zoo! Zoos are great fun. What do you do there?

Nothing very exciting is going on in my life, beyond the excitement of starting college. Classes are much more entertaining and interesting than in high school, and living in Wisconsin isn't all that different from living in Washington except for some random quirks - apparently it's much more PC to say Indian here than Native American...

So it's mostly going really well. Good to hear from you!
