I don't know if it helps, but I think of you as my equal. Heck, I can admit there are a lot of things you already know about that I don't! ;)
I guess it's just hard for some people to see you as an adult when they were there when you were born. You might always just be a bigger version of the baby they first met. At some point they start to give you more respect. But it's their loss for not being able to have a relationship with you based on who you are now. *hugs*

yeah, a lot of the boardies ignore my age now that they're used to me, but i remember some of them (Mac for instance) was like "oh, sorrie, i'll just go off this way now... >>" when he first found out that i was really young. of course i was like 14 when i joined the boards but shhhhhhhh no one knows that. ^_____^
My parents are pretty good about it, they're just not used to me talking. normally i'm shy around adults too, but when it comes to things like people not taking in all of the facts of the situation and just making one-sided opinions out of ignorance, it bugs the heck out of me. *siiiiiiiigh* guess i better start getting used to being treated this way for the next 5 years or so.
