Welcome to NaNo! At least I know you feel my pain, now (even if my computer died last night...*groan* Maybe I should have named my LJ entry 'How NaNo Killed My Computer' LOL. Except that wouldn't be fair, the poor thing was dying long before that. I may need to reformat the HD to make it usable but I'll let Fred play with it first when he brings out his old computer.

yes i understand your pain. believe me i do. it really sucks when you get into your story and lose all track of time and realize that it's later than you expected and you missed doing other stuff you should have...oopps!

but it's a good thing that Fred's bringing by his old 'puter for you.

LOL! Too bad you don't have an egg timer.

I'll be glad when the new 'puter gets here too, though I might try at least one more thing with my old one to see if I can get it working again.

yes they are strange and annoying. for some reason mine keeps going into idle mode after like 1min and it never used to do that before. so now i have to figure out why and input the correct time of like 15min before it goes into idle.

and yeah, i should probably invest in an egg timer. i don't think we have one. *sigh* it would certain help me keep track of time because i usually forget about the little clock down in the corner of the comp screen :)

i'm not far along at all. i've only put up the 1st chap. this is forcing me to take the time to write it. i've got outlines for up to chap 5 and that's it. so no worries there. i didn't really cheat or anything. hehehe. i'm not even 20% of the way there! :P

i think i'm at like 6 or maybe 7 with my first chap. maybe. really the others need to be worked on, the other 2 chaps i have anything typed up on. i made some major mistakes in them that i need to fix or want to fix. and thanks for saying you'll take the time to read it. i'll post a comment on chap10 soon. definitely this weekend! :)

yes...story...and i'm still working on it. although i'm taking a break currently but there are quite a few chapters. only the first 3-4 are really edited though...
