I've been having one of those weeks where I keep writing posts in my head but never actually sit down to write them. That is oddly frustrating to me

I created a family site like you discussed (not sure if it will meet all your needs, but it has a place for documents, photos, a discussion board, and a calendar) through the MSN groups. I'd tried the Google groups and wasn't as satisfied with them. But my family doesn't seem to update much, which can be the problem, especially when the family isn't tech savvy.

Yeah...I'm crossing my fingers that the family will actually particpate. I'm going to try out Community Server for now and move on if needed.
