I have a saved LJ draft that has a list of things that I meant to post about. Unfortunately, in scanning the list I have now discovered that it is so out-of-date that there is no point in bothering to post about most of it. Ah-well.
Christmas was great fun. As typical, we divided the time between the families spending the weekend before Christmas with T.J.'s family and the actual holiday with my family. It was a lot less stressful than Christmas 2006 where we attempted to split the actual holiday between the families. My mom took a great picture of the newly fallen snow from our front porch the day after Christmas:
T.J. and I wrote our
first holiday newsletter this year (well, last year). It was more difficult than we expected. Seriously, what voice do you use? Oh! December also marked our 2nd anniversary.
There is one thing on my list that I have to share. The credits to Portal (the game) were great! I go back and listen to them whenever I need a pick-me-up. Great fun!

In December I was saddened to hear of the passing of musician Dan Fogelberg. I have fond childhood memories of listening to one of his albums with my dad. The song in this tribute video was one of my favorites:

And, on a even more personal and somber note, I mention the passing of President Gordon B. Hinckley, the most recent leader of the LDS church. President Hinckley has been the prophet since I was 13 and has always been a role model. He was beyond kind and had more energy and charisma than most people half his age. He's missed by millions.
