I just got back from seeing Fast Food Nation.

i heard this movie fucking sucked in comparison to the book. i find it weird that it has been fictionalized. really, though? it's great?

I think it would be better to say the film was inspired by the book rather than an interpretation of it.

It did put a dramatic human face (and perhaps some non-human faces as well) on the topic which I think may be more effective to the average American than a documentary.
