Yesterday was lovely and beautiful. The amazing Jessie* drove our booties to Chicago, brought us pad thai with lots of spice for the road, remained cool headed in trying traffic, and dressed real smart. We proceeded to attend a splendid concert in a gorgeous old theater, full of punky, funky, ani difranco fans, and got to sit very, tremendously

This reminds me of when you're Dad drove us to Milwaukee to see Ani and we got giganto gas station sodas and Le Clic and the security guards taking pictures with my camera. I miss concert mini-roadtrips.
And scones are the best thing ever.
