Eight Years

My dad has been gone eight years....

It's really surprising to me to think that.  Eight years is a really long time.  Almost a 1/3 of my life.

I think it's only so weird because I think of him a lot.

Dammit. I specifically try as hard as I possibly can to forget the dates people die. I had managed to miss this year for the first time ever, and then I read this.
