Spent about two hours or so shoveling my way into my driveway last night/this morning after spending two days at work. There was no point to trying to drive home in the storm Friday night, and it was just as well to have an extra nurse in the house Saturday morning, as one fellow was six hours late due to his vehicle embedding itself in a snowbank

Of course, once it was clear that both 11-7 nurses had arrived last night, I was all, "I want my own bed now!" and thus the driving home and shoveling at midnight.

...And JB has been very good on Arrow so far, I've thought. Like, last couple of things I saw him in, he looked tired and gave me vibes of phoning it in, but he pretty much nails it in this one. Glad you're enjoying the show for its own sake, too. (I am as well; feels nice.)
Sympathies for the snowfall issues; stay safe & cozy!

Katie Cassidy = Laurel. During my brief but very intense affair with Supernatural, she played an interesting, complicated and generally badass demon (known to fandom as Ruby One), and she was a delight. Cue giganto girlcrush, basically. Granted, I can't say I've been overwhelmed with feelings for the character so far, but she's why I first tuned in, and it's her first post-SPN project I could get into.
Mmmm, hot chocolate + cozy indoors = best way to confront white stuff happenings.

Her character has tons of potential, and we got a glimpse of it in this last episode, I think. Otherwise, for a lawyer, she has surprisingly little agency so far. Hoping for more of the badass, spit-in-the-bad-guy's-face Laurel in future eps.
Oh, I would love it if he got multiple seasons. *nods* *crosses fingers*
Actually, the formula I've been using is dark hot chocolate + Bailey's Irish Cream + Kahlua = Snow? What snow? :-D
