Holy shit! There are ten of my stories on there-- more bizarre to see what was chosen, really. The BBC Sherlocks, the Reapers, the Kingdom of Heaven slash (talk about obscure), the Smekday story (ditto), and a handful of others.
Wonder who's converting and loading up these things? And moreover, how they're requiring a login/account for something that's available for free right off of AO3?
The randomness suggests it's a bot. Some of my stories are fragments of series. It looks like they think they can monetize it somehow, which is the main reason I'm pursuing it.
Wow, that have one of mine. I'm not sure I care? Is that bad? There are a ton of sites that pull LJ posts/tags. It all looks automated. I don't know who would want my one old WIP that they have as opposed to a whole bunch of other finished good stories.
If they weren't apparently trying to monetize it, I'm not sure I'd care either. Most of what they have of mine is fragments of series. I think you're right. It's a bot of some kind.
Hopefully all the pro fiction up there (which the pros and some of their publishers are now becoming aware of) will get the whole site yanked pretty quickly.

Thanks for the heads-up!
