Sorry that happened.

It was an incredibly insecure (given that they didn't say it to your face), unhelpful, smug and selfish thing that person did. Not to mention blasé.

It's so easy to be destructive.

that person was petty, mean-spirited and spiteful, all of which completely undermine any validity the comment might have had. you allowed yourself to be vulnerable (not a bad thing!!!) in order to learn about yourself and some small-minded nincompoop used the opportunity to try to hurt you. they suck. a lot. (and they're bad at it and often use their teeth.)

i suggest you re-figure the results (sans asshole) and see what turns up.

you are well loved, by the way, well loved by lots of people who aren't assholes (and by a few who occasionally are)...
