I'm really loving this, and I really want more Blaine/Hudmel moments, because Carole was so sweet and awesome while at the same time made me sad over what Blaine's been through/believes about his own parents.
I'm glad you're liking it so far, and there will be more Blaine interaction with Hudmels in the future and eventually they will all get a chance to be awesome to him, not just Carole :)
I'm really enjoying this story so far, bb, even though it's breaking my heart. :( Oh, Blaine... whenever he talks about how his parents 'didn't want him', or how his mum 'gave up on him when he became too much trouble', I just want to yell and cry and hug him through the screen!! :( It's incredibly interesting, seeing the way you have Blaine's mind working here because of the different background. So many emotional blocks and channels and mind games in order for him to justify what's going on... oh, bb. :(
And oh, god, the previous part with the kidnapping and the sexual assault and the long-term of it all is incredibly frightening and scary and oh, god. :(
I admit, though, it's very strange seeing a story where so many of the characters are so strongly anti-drug! It is the states, though, I suppose! :) (I'm just used to BC, I guess, where everyone and their mum smokes pot.)
Great chapter, hon! Even though Burt's reaction to Blaine had me sadfacing TIMES A MILLION.
Oh, I'm very aware of Mercedes and Finn at this point in season two. They pissed me off as well, so a lot of their behaviour in this chapter was written with that in mind. I will make it up to Finn at least in the next part (I need to verify some season timelines before I can see if Mercedes gets a pass yet).
It will probably take some awful, horrendous fight with Tom, followed by immense amounts of alcohol for Blaine to tell Kurt ANY single, small thing about his life since Tom entered his world, but I'm hoping that perhaps the joy of friendship, coupled with Kurt's extraordinary caring nature might hurry the process along. (It's unlikely, but I wish it were so...)
...*cough*
What? Noooo. What? You are in my head right now, aren't you? WAY OFF.
