Title: Looking for a Happy Ending Author: firefly_caPairing,Character(s): Kurt/Blaine, with eventual appearances from pretty much everyone

As soon as I read about the older brother I had a sneaking suspicion and was running canon characters through my mind, and the second I got the next clue, (either the job or the 3 children part) I basically screamed out horrifiedly in my head, "NO!!! STEVIE!!!!!" Then at the part about him letting him go to the park, "NO!!! SAM!!!!," because he will be going insane with guilt and worry! I need to read the next part now!!! Gahhhhh!!!!!!!
Thanks for commenting! I wasn't really sure how obvious it was going to be. I wasn't trying to make it a big secret, but I can never tell if I'm making things unintentionally vague when I'm writing from a limited PoV.
Don't worry! I should be posting the final part in the next hour or so :)
(Got distracted from reading by tumblr. Of course)
Okay I never actually made the connection that it was Stevie, because I failed to read your AN! But pretty much the same reaction! Stevie!! Sam!!! And Blaine's never met Stevie!!
One of the things that always really gets to me is when a child doesn't know how old they are. Just. It's probably a strange thing to focus on, but that has always been one of the little things that hit me. Of course I'd see it brought up here, this fic <3
And yeah, I seem to be hitting a lot of different "This Gets to Me" buttons with this story. I don't know why that surprises me, given the storyline and that the story would fail if it didn't affect people, but I'm always a little surprised when people tell me that it has.
I can't respond with just a :D because it's really not appropriate given what you're talking about... but I still really loved reading your in-the-moment comments to this fic so, so much. Thanks again for taking the time to leave them!
Okay, I may be a little slow, but I realized it was Sam's brother when Tom mentioned the motel, and then everything just clicked into place. My mouth seriously fell open and I went 'Oh my Moffat, it's Stevie!" Also, I liked listening to 'The Bed Song' by Amanda Palmer while reading this story. The lyrics have really nothing to do with it, it's just the melancholy tune and the piano. Amazing story!
