"Impedimenta!" Remus stumbled as the hex hit him square in the back.
The two Death Eaters quickly approached and disarmed him, pinning him to the ground.
"Potter's pet werewolf. The Dark Lord will be pleased." A female voice purred.
"Sectumsempra!" The same voice suddenly issued a scream in pain, as the Death Eater sank to the ground. Her partner turned quickly, only to be hit with the same curse.
"Incarcerous!" The two of them were suddenly neatly bound together.
A gloved hand was extended to Remus. Remus took it gratefully. He looked up to discover the identity of his rescuer, and was met with yet another white mask. Shocked, he nearly fell down all over again. He realized, however, that this was not a Death Eater mask.
"Surprised?" The voice beneath it drawled. "Sadly sullen and sadistic to some, this sardonic scoundrel has certainly sinned, almost as certainly as he has been sinned against. Surreptitious and subtle, this sir has surely atoned for said sins, and in such a sycophantic and servile fashion that makes one shudder. Sequentially, he has also single-handedly sparked the strike to settle surrender from the sinister Voldemort. This shield," the figure gestured to his mask, "does not simply sit to screen against the senses, but also is a symbol of stout defiance. But surely this shocking and sensational story must find its own moment of serendipity. Suddenly put, this strange salutation steers steadily towards a straggling stream of words which surely must be a serenade towards slumber. So please swiftly sanction my sincere apologies and let me simply add that it is your very good honour to meet me and you may call me S."
Remus rolled his eyes, and reached up to pull the mask off his lover.
"I should have never suggested we see that movie."
Severus smirked. "I did warn you that it had inspired me. And this does work so well to guard me against the Death Eaters and those who are not yet certain of where my loyalties lie."
"Serendipitous that I do." Remus suddenly grinned. "You know, you missed one fairly important word that begins with the letter S in that speech."
"Ahh, but that word is better demonstrated than spoken, is it not?" Severus pulled Remus in for a slow and salacious kiss. "Let's go home."
