I think my brain just broke reading this article in the Washington Post today.

How can anyone possibly read complete and utter crap like this and say that American society is no longer sexist? It's in the FUCKING WASHINGTON POST and I could spend an hour detailing all the ways this woman is wrong and uses horrible methods to "prove" her "points

They're trying to pass it off as a humor piece??? REALLY???? That's just insulting.

Wow. I emailed the Washingon Post ppl and told them it was unbelievable they would publish that and that it was poorly-supported and insulting...something along those lines. I'm sure I wasn't the only one. Although I'm sure plenty of people are emailing the author directly instead.

I wouldn't email her directly. I don't care if that's what she thinks...I'm just mad it got published!

Anyhoo..back to work..

Awesome. I mean, imagine the outcry if they published a piece saying "black people are so silly! Because they're all poor that must mean they're naturally stupid and all like being on welfare! Though a few can do real jobs and should be encouraged, the rest should just be happy with the things they're naturally good at- like basketball! -and excel at those things."

This entire campaign season has been interesting in that the racist and sexist underbelly of America has been popping out all over the place.
