I hate how they go on about calling themselves "animal rights' activists" when they do stuff like that link talks about and when their actual goal is that there be no more domestication of animals ever at all. Probably more than 3/4 of the people I know have some kind of pet, and probably everyone

Hm... I bounced around the site a bit, and it seems like PETA is one seriously farked up organization. The "Your Mommy Kills Animals" thing is amusing, though. I'm generally against wearing fur, too (unless you're going to freeze without it!), just because big fur coats seem wasteful. But I loooooove leather, so I guess I suck too. =P

I find it doubtful that they kill them for fun... they're probably ill or something.

That said, I find animal rights nutters stupid (surprise surprise). The scale of human suffering in the world is staggering, almost incredible. That should be dealt with before we consider animals at all.
