A duck's quack doesn't echo, and no one knows why.

YES IT DOES! Mythbusters of Discovery channel proved it so! It does echo, the sound waves are weird and unusual, but it definitely echos.

More than 50% of the people in the world have never made or received a telephone call

92% of people in the world do not own a car. That's an interesting statistic for you. ;)

It is physically impossible for you to lick your elbow.

There are actually people who can do that.

"Go," is the shortest complete sentence in the English language

I'm sure "A." beats it if, I imagine, it is in the context of answering the question "What's the first letter in the alphabet?"

They also buy enough ice cream in a year to provide food, basic health and nutrition for everyone in the world. o_o

'A' isn't a complete sentence... the complete sentence in that context would be 'the first letter of the alphabet is A.'

Also, 'be' and 'do' are generally not commands given to people, because they usually exist in the first place and 'do' would need another verb to really make sense ('do eat').

I knew most of the animal ones...

"If you sneeze too hard you can fracture a rib.

If you try to suppress a sneeze you can rupture a blood vessel in your head or neck and die."

Choices, choices...
