LOVE makes a family...

alright... so today I saw a post from a "friend" (you know who you are) explaining how he is against gay marriage, and how he is NOT gay (sounds like internalized homophobia to me). Okay, dude... you're not gay. fine by me. I wouldn't want you in my family anyway. You say that the future of the family is at stake? You know what I say to that ( Read more... )

Actually Leviticus 19:19 is where it says it. It's also where it says you can't plant two crops in the same field. Funny what christians choose to bash others with and what to totally forget.

As for Jesus teachings that God made them only male and female, where do hermaphrodites come from? They are born naturally so God didn't make them?

As for 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, it's interesting that only the NKJV says "homosexuals" when all other translations say "effeminate" SO much for the bible being the exact word of God... which bible? Quite a difference.

The Bible is a book of fictional tales. They all contradict each other, so that anyone can take anything out of it. If you don't like gay marriage- then don't do it. It's really that simple.

thank u.
when i think of the bible and religion, primarily christianity, two words come to mind.cognitive dissonance.
how much of the bible do u trust and why? is your perspective on your existance the same as the ancient authors of this compilation of continual alterations and bylaws.

Wait, so according to this, if I had a rebellious son (Deuteronomy 21:18-22) can I ask him to go try to be forgiven first or do I have to get the elders to come stone him to death right away?

If you use the bible as your reason for being against gay marriages, then how do you fit in seperation of church and state? While everyone is entitled to your opinion our laws are NOT supposed to be biblical. I would also like to know where that fact about only 5% of gays being in relationships lasting longer than 3 years cam from. I would prefer to see a link to an actual study, I'm curious to see the age group, gender, location or those that were interviewed. Maybe it's a regional fact, I know a large amount of gays that have been in long lasting relationship.

quick question...how many years of approved success have you lived?
u do have one right? by all the standards that this book or rules has set forth? ur got a wife(that u can beat), daughters that you will use to please the men of this world and men to carry on your name right?
why do you long to "correct" homosexuals? what did they ever do? are you jealous that they can live however they see fit?
are you honestly suprised to know the the "facts" show the same sex relationships "don't work?" can you live happier knowing that you choose the correct sexuality and aren't tainted? r u afraid that there is more than one way to live? what is it? how can you go about your life implying so much hate amoungst this world?
