the only problem is that you'd be opening a franchise, and those can be really hard...one of my friends is going to college to get a restaraunt management degree, and he was telling me about this...

Yes, you don't have to think of your own menu and such, which makes it a lot easier, but the company has so much say in what you have to do and ingredients you have to use.

And the big set back with franchises is that you have to pay some huge ammount every month to keep their name. My coworker said that McDonalds is the worst, with something like, 10k a month just to have the name 'McDonalds' on your front door...

But the thing with franchises is that you can't just open one, you'll lose all your money, you open one, and a year later, when you have the money, you open another one, and six months after that, another one...that's going to be the only way you can make money...

tim just came home yesterday and said that his lifelong dream is now to open a franchise :D so we'll see what happens!

why does tim want to own a franchise? some random act of god towards him? hehe, and do you really want to open up something with tim?
