Wednesday at 4pm Little Brother suddenly started vomiting and just did not stop. He had been at daycare all day, and had seemed fine. They had just been playing in the gym, where he was playing and acting normally, and had come up for snacktime. Snack was from his own lunch, and was the same food that he has everyday, nothing unusual. He suddenly ( Read more... )

That sounds perfectly hellish. My heart goes out to you and your whole family, and I'm sorry you had to go through that much fear. I hope Little Brother is soon completely recovered, with no lingering ill effects, and that your worries about his caregivers...well, that you can find yourself and all of your family protected and safe.

Thanks so much. It's been awful. He seems fine now. I just hope the whole thing is over. I really feel that there is way too much drama in my family right now. But on the other hand, this just reminds me of how much I have, and how truly blessed I am with my beautiful, healthy-most-of-the-time children.

He's fine. No further signs of dizziness or lack of coordination.

And the bright side of this whole experience is that it's really made me realize how he's growing up. All the extra attention I'm paying to him is making me see that he's talking so much more than I ever realized. His consonants are really unclear, so it's mostly vowels, which makes it seem like he's just babbling. But now that I'm paying such close attention to him, I realize that he's talking A LOT, with a great vocabulary! Poor ignored middle child.

But yeah, he seems to be fine. I'll just have to wait and see, I guess, but I'm starting to breathe easy.

Oh my goodness, that must have been terrifying. I'm so glad to hear that he's bounced back!

Hope you are also doing well! I imagine you are busier than ever at home.

Yes, incredibly busy. But having fun, too. They are all three of them such wonderful, amazing, fun kids.

I've been enjoying reading about your experiences at the "liberry" playgroup. You must be having fun, busy times yourself.

He didn't eat anything unusual. I guess it could have been. It's really a mystery.
