There were seven guests slated to be at Torchsong this weekend, four of them being Torchwood actors. As posted earlier, two of the Torchwood stars had to pull out at the last minute. Now word comes from the convention that a third, Tom Price (Gwen's former police partner Andy, for those who watch the show), has broken his arm.

Unbelievable.

Apparently he's there, but with his arm in a cast. Since he broke it today he must have already been in Chicago when it happened. Word has it he looked the wrong way and stepped in front of a car.

No one would want to be in their shoes! All this talk of suing them is disturbing since it's not their fault (though they probably should have had insurance!). But it sounds like they've pulled together a good con from the rubble, and almost the entire Barrowman family has pitched in to try to help the attendees have a good time - John, his husband Scott, and John's mother who are all in Wales, and John's sister and niece who are at the con.
