I once made Alton Brown's duck, where its fried up in a skillet, and then spinach (well recipe says chard, but i like spinach more) is added to absorb the fat that has rendered off. It was godly. Liquid Love as he calls it. Probably not terribly healthy, but oh my god.
I have to get used to snow. I like snow, in it's "white stuff falling outside of my window" form, provided it's a house window we're talking about and not a car window while I'm driving ... I lived through a few snow falls while I was living up in the mountains, before we met, and even one bout of driving through a blizzard, but since we're soon moving to the land of ice and snow I need to be prepared for white/wet/cold on a regular basis.
So I bought boots.
Really. This will save me from the snow. I am now prepared.

I would not know what to do in the snow, hehe.
And OMG! YUMMY!
I totally have to try one...both of these recipes when I get home.
Thanks, Miz Fiona! :D
