Today I went driving (with my dad of course) out to this place called Middleburg, and I must say that that place is the most beautiful and surreal place I've seen in the US thus far. It was like some place out of a dream. There were rolling hills of very green grass, the shrubbery was ornamental, and the buildings there were so ornate and....

your journal is the most uplifting journal i have ever read. ariel's is cool, amon's is honest, bilal's is nonsense, mine is artistic, and yours is just really uplifting. it almost always makes my mood improve. i completely envy your state of mind.

ahh middleburg

i remember my first ever experience with mountain bike races (as a spectator, not a participant) was in middleburg. i read about a race taking place there and convinced my family to drive out there. we saw the race area for a bit then headed back. it just so happened that the town of middleburg was having like a festival and there was craft booths, food and stuff of that nature. so we parked and walked around for a couple hours just checking it all out. nice place indeed.
