My boss thinks he is funny. He thinks that it is ok to say all kinds of sexist things. Part of it is his generation, part of it is hat he thinks people should be able to take a joke. But for me this crossed a line. He treats smart women like they are an accident. That they lose their intelligence when they have to do something for their families, etc.

I could report my boss to the board, but the board will not tolerate any sort of negativity about CEO. He is the founder and face of the agency. Others have tried, for different reasons and they have all been let go.

For some reason when I go to look for other work I freeze. It is not as if I don't try, but something locks inside of me. I am working on it, but it doesn't seem to be abating. I have this incredible since of loyalty that is completely missplaced.
