In Revenge of the Sith, Obi Wan says "Only Sith deal in absolutes" but that isn't quite true. The Jedi Order also deal in absolutes, and that's part of their problem. The Jedi are far from perfect, because they are indoctrinated as babies to follow the Code, which takes a lot of their freewill away, and are isolated from people who are different
