Often when Anakin has visions, they are negative. A couple of them have positive, such as the one he had of him freeing the slaves, but quite a bit are bad. Two examples of these types of visions are when he had visions of Shmi getting tortured by the Tusken Raiders, and Padme dying in childbirth. Why is this? It's not neccessairly because Anakin

And actually, that's a good question. :) I think it's mostly considering how he's driven to help and save people. And it might be another explanation for the whole "turning to save Padme" thing. Again, pretty crazy, but y'know...

Yeah, that makes some sense. In the vision, for example, Padme didn't seem exactly in danger of dying but seemed to be in a lot of labor pain. That must of scared Anakin to the point that he *did* think she was going to die...Not exactly a rational conclusion, but the pain must have really freaked him out.

That's what I think, too. To be honest, I can't recall any tales of good visions. Anywhere.

But I meant it outside of Star Wars. There aren't many tales of good visions out there. You don't need to know of happiness before it comes.
