I have never, ever, been particularly interested in politics.  There are many things that the government has done that I do not necessarily agree with, and I have complained/ranted about them.  But all in all I just sorta let the realist inside me "deal" with them by chalking it up to "the way things are," and that they are unlikely to change.  I
