Alright, pet peeve of mine. If someone is hosting and organizing an event (especially an invite only one) and you didn't receive an invitation (especially if one of the party has an agreement not to interact with the organizer) DO NOT just go an invite yourself. Seriously. Especially since their attitude about the situation was "It's a "social outing" that you are hosting and organizing, so therefore I shouldn't need to ask you to come"

Yea I ended up asking the culprit what the deal was and they said it was "a group event." They didn't understand that just because a lot of people that you know go, doesn't mean that EVERYONE is invited.
