An experiment

I'm not going to get into too much detail, but I've been doing some experimenting lately. See I've watched everyone cast all these awesome spells and that got me thinking about how little I can really do. No, I'm not going to become a wizard. I'm quite happy as a witch, I just wish I could actually do something useful. So I've started thinking, and ( Read more... )

Y'know, there's a reason why I tell Katsuya and Seto not to cast new spells without a higher level wizard around...If you're not 100% sure what you're doing you can get yourself fucking KILLED, even if you're just trying to cast Faerie Fire. Miscasting and spell backfire can turn even the most harmless spell into something deadly. And you, who has never cast anything like our arcane spells, are going off alone with no way to contact anyone if you get yourself in over your head??? Practical application is all well and good, but when you're fucking around with something that can very well blow up in your face, doing it alone is a very stupid thing to do.

D-chan's right. Experiments in magic are notoriously dangerous. There's about hundred things that can go wrong that I can list, and probably even more that I've never even thought of. Even the most powerful spellcaster should take extreme precautions when attempting something out of his scope, and you're just going out on a half-assed whim. Even I triple check things when I start experimenting, and I can't even die. You are being completely idiotic going off by yourself without even telling anyone exactly what you're attempting. I'll be keeping my eye on you, and if you end up with any kind of miscast that ends up in something other than death, I'll make damn sure you get to enjoy the effects for the next week at least.
