Trouble in Isis's temple

Everything started out normal at the temple, Nakhti was out in the market with Ahmose. THe Theif King was stealing random things from the market and the ex-cleric was looking for books and scrolls and the like. Ahmose was an idiot. Nahkti's a thief. Ahmose KNOWS he's a thief. So common sense would dictate that Nahkti is probably going to steal something in the marketplace. From that, one should, to be safe, automatically assume that anything Nahkti is holding is hot, and that it would be fucking moronic to mention it, let alone YELL at him to put the damn thing down. Ahmose has proven, as many have before, that common sense is the least common of all senses.
Also, given Nahkti's dislike of reading, why would he even bother trying to get him to look at a scroll in the 1st place? I doubt he'd be interested.
All in all, I'd say that rates a Darwin Honorable Mention, since nobody died from the act of stupidity.

And you know, in the right situation, binding a person to another person can also be a good way of getting them killed.
