I'm totally against the death penalty. If you can't give it, don't take it away. We cannot give life. Fowllowing this line of thought, why are we so arrogant that we believe we have the right to take it away in the name of justice?

while, I'm not saying it's not a big deal to kill someone, you may wish to rethink your opinion. See, Israel was given laws and punishments for doing wrong. Some of the punishments the Lord Himself prescribed for certain offences where things like being stoned to death. So, assuming that capital punishment is, in itself wrong, is quite illogical.
